Children this age are overwhelmed with a lot of choices, so please send two or three nutritional finger foods, e.g. carrot sticks, cheese cubes, crackers, grapes, sandwiches, apple slices, in reusable, easy to open containers. If it could spill all over your child, please don’t send it. Please do not send candy, paper napkins, baggies, or prepackaged sweetened flavored yogurt in tubes. Consider the environment and help us reduce the amount of trash and uneaten food thrown away.
We ask parents to bring snack for their child’s class about ten times in the school year. We love fresh, homemade, low sugar treats.
